Parents help with Reading

6 Predicting Questions
The questions listed below may be used to unlock the meaning of the books for children. Use them while you read. This will help your child with the comprehension skill “predicting”.
1.   Look at the front cover. What do you think the story is about?
2.   What do you think will happen next? Why do you think this?
3.   What is happening that might be unusual or unexpected?
4.   What does the author mean by…?
5.   Why are the characters in our story acting the way they do?
6.   Does this story sound like another story we might know?

Well here it goes...

Hey everyone. I am Angel. I have blogged before but never for a school assignment. This is a new experience for me. I love to gab away so this should be great for me. I would like to think I am wonderful mother and a fantastic friend. I am set in my ways and my goals. I am stronger than I give myself credit for. I am devoted to several things in my life and tend to forget about ME! I enjoy the adventures my life has taken and expect to continue the ride. Keep your friends close you will always need a shoulder to cry on or a hand to hold. Help them in their time of need and they will be there in yours. Give everything you got to this life for it may be the only one that means the most. DON’T REGRET! LIVE IN THE MOMENT AND HAVE SOME FUN! I teach Preschool...and LOVE every moment of it. Well that is enough for an introduction at the moment.
