Podcasting Experience

For podcasting purposes..I decided today to find something funny because we all know funny is needed every now and again. These podcasts are by no means for children or should be listened to with children within earshot. Not meant for work, either. Every day something happens and you have to remember to laugh at the smaller things in life to get by.

The Parent Experimen-Talks about real parenting issues. Most of them funny situations. It’s a real show. Makes you feel like you’re not the only parent in the world without the manual.
Sarah and Vinnie Secret Show- I like the idea of this show. Each podcast is done in a secret location. It sounds just like the radio shows most of us might listen to in the mornings.

I enjoyed the podcast and the fact I can subscribe to them and have them waiting. I can down load them to my iPod which is great because then I can listen to them while working out or in the car. I love podcasting for the purpose that it would be a great way to share ideas with other teachers. The only thing I dislike is the visual aspect. Many of the podcasts I choose are not video podcast. I have always wanted to podcast my students doing awesome things. We do so many fantastic things in preschool that I would love to be able to share it with parents. OH MY what about podcasting parent meetings. I have had such horrible attendance at my monthly parent meetings. What if I podcasted them..gave the link on my blog page (for school) and then parents could access it when they have time. Still getting parent involvement just on another type of level..OH how cool would that be..I might have to try this... :) Alright bye for now.

New Introduction

I teach Preschool..Each day is an adventure of craziness, Playdough, paint, germs, snot, laughter, music, and little kid’s creative thinking. I love every minute I teach.  I believe in growth and gradual change. I still believe in all things from my previous blog introduction:
I would like to think I am wonderful mother and a fantastic friend. I am set in my ways and my goals. I am stronger than I give myself credit for. I am devoted to several things in my life and tend to forget about ME! I enjoy the adventures my life has taken and expect to continue the ride. Keep your friends close you will always need a shoulder to cry on or a hand to hold. Help them in their time of need and they will be there in yours. Give everything you got to this life for it may be the only one that means the most. DON’T REGRET! LIVE IN THE MOMENT AND HAVE SOME FUN!”
Now things have changed in my life and I realize how strong I really have been and still manage to be. I have noticed a change in my classroom with the change in my own personal life. I have been on this quality literature kick in my room. Every day I try to make sure that each student has heard at least three great books. I have been also working on several positive behavior support systems individualized for each of my behavior students.
